Who Is This Guy?

Hi. My name is Craig Immel.

 

I am a seasoned real estate and construction industry professional, with nearly 2 decades of adding value to my clients’ property transactions and development projects.

 

Born right here in Fayetteville, my formative years were spent between Northwest Arkansas and Tulsa. Following university at Oklahoma State (B.S. Geography), I moved to Colorado to take a job in digital mapping and GIS, but quickly transitioned to begin my career in real estate – selling high-end mountain homes, conservation-quality land and ranches, and commercial property. With the seasonal nature of the mountain real estate business, I kept myself occupied working in residential construction, snowboard instruction and whitewater river guiding. Eager to learn more about large scale real estate development and project finance, I later earned a Master of Real Estate and Construction Management degree from Daniels College of Business at University of Denver.

 

Over the years, I have gained experience in all phases of residential and commercial project management and development, with a special emphasis on green building, renewable energy, and high-performance MEP systems. I have estimated, managed, supervised, consulted on and/or been a subcontractor on projects collectively valued at over $750,000,000. I am often looked to as a credible media and academic resource. My work has been featured by Shopping Centers Today, Colorado Real Estate Journal, Tulsa Business Journal, Trinity Broadcasting Network, Renewable Energy World, National Energy Policy Institute, and many other outlets.

 

As a 21st century professional who is always looking for better ways to do, well, pretty much everything, I make it a priority to keep my skills current in internet-based marketing – especially in website design, digital photo/video, search engine marketing and social media. I am also an FAA Part 107 Certified Remote Pilot (aka commercially licensed and insured drone operator), with advanced skills in aerial HD video and editing, mapping and 3D modeling to ensure my clients’ properties and projects are presented to buyers around the World from the best possible angle.

 

I’m an outdoor sportsman who loves mountain biking, snowboarding, river running, surfing, camping, fishing, and just generally being outdoors with friends, family and the pups. It is important to me that the real estate and construction industry minimize its negative impacts on our natural resources. I am a LEED Accredited Professional, and have been involved in developing several of the LEED green building rating systems and professional exams. I am a long-time member of the U.S. Green Building Council, and a known advocate for environmentally friendly building and development practices, smart growth policies, and preservation of public parks and open space.

 

I also really enjoy traveling for business and adventure, usually combining the two when possible. My diverse travel experiences have allowed me to enhance my local market expertise with a global perspective. I believe this is a great value add to my clients as Northwest Arkansas continues to raise its profile within the international business community. I have spent meaningful time in most countries in the Americas, and was also recently honored to join a delegation of American entrepreneurs to India, sponsored by the U.S. Department of State Professional Fellows Program.

 

Beyond all of the above, I am most proud of the quality of the business and personal relationships I have established thus far in my real estate career. I have had the privilege of working with incredibly bright, innovative and hard working people from across town and across the globe. I value relationships highly, and I work hard to maintain the level of trust, professionalism and confidentiality that my clients and customers have come to expect from me. My goal is to consistently provide a uniquely detailed and organized approach to negotiations and transaction management to achieve my clients’ goals and make their lives easier – and that keeps them coming back year after year.
